Manchester, N.H. - For the second time in the past week, the New Hampshire Fisher Cats defeated the Hartford Yard Goats on a walk-off wild pitch. Thursday's 4-3 win at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium came in the bottom of the 12th inning.
Andrew Guillotte led off the 12th with a triple to right-center field. The Yard Goats then intentionally walked Tim Lopes and Richard Urena to load the bases, and brought Drew Weeks in from right field as a fifth infielder.
With Anthony Alford at the plate, Troy Neiman (L, 4-2) bounced a 1-2 pitch off catcher Dom Nunez. The ball skipped to the first base dugout, and Guillotte sprinted home with the winning run.
The Fisher Cats also defeated the Yard Goats last Wednesday, August 16, on a walk-off wild pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth. Adding to the drama, Urena swung and missed at strike three in the dirt, but reached first base safely on a wild pitch while the winning run scored from third.
The Fisher Cats held a 3-0 lead entering the seventh inning, thanks to an RBI single from Emilio Guerrero in the fifth, as well as an RBI double from Richard Urena and run-scoring single from Lourdes Gurriel in the sixth. Urena, ranked No. 11 among Blue Jays prospects by MLB.com, leads the Eastern League with 35 doubles this season.

Sean Reid-Foley pitched well enough to win, holding Hartford scoreless through his first six innings. Dom Nunez led off the seventh with a homer to make it 3-1, and Reid-Foley was chased from the game when Hartford led off the eighth with a pair of singles. Andrew Case came out of the bullpen and allowed a two-run double to Josh Fuentes that tied the game at 3-3. Reid-Foley's line finished at 7 IP, 3 R, 7 H, 0 BB, 8 K, one of his finest performances of the season.
After Fuentes evened the score, Case retired six of the next seven batters he faced, with three strikeouts. Danny Young (W, 2-1) pitched three inning of scoreless relief, allowing one hit and five walks while striking out two batters.
The homestand continues with Atlas Fireworks Friday and Saturday, and a pre-game balloon sword fight and Kids Run the Bases for Sunday's home schedule finale at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
