BILOXI, MS - The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster moves before tonight's series opener against the Mississippi Braves: INF Gabriel Noriega promoted to AAA Colorado Springs. INF George Iskenderian   has been reinstated from the 7-day DL.

BILOXI, MS The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster moves before tonight's series opener against the Mississippi Braves: INF Gabriel Noriega promoted to AAA Colorado Springs. INF George Iskenderian   has been reinstated from the 7-day DL.

Noriega, 26, saw action as a pinch-hitter during last night's 4-3 win in Jacksonville, striking out in his only plate appearance. Noriega broke camp with Colorado Springs and played in four games going 1-for-6 in limited action. Over nine professional seasons, the Maturin, VZ native has a .256 career batting average with 18 home runs and 266 RBI in 829 minor league games. Noriega was signed by the Brewers last June after being released by the Diamondbacks. 
Iskenderian, 23, was placed on the 7-day DL on April 26 and had appeared in 14 games for the Shuckers, batting .086 with one RBI. Milwaukee's seventh round pick in 2015 out of Miami (FL) is a career .260 hitter with six home runs and 45 RBI in 140 games. Iskenderian won the regular-season batting title with Miami in 2015, batting .391.
The current Shuckers roster consists of 25 active players, with four additional players on the disabled list. 
The Shuckers open a 10-game homestand at MGM Park tonight against the Mississippi Braves. RHP Taylor Jungmann will take the mound for Biloxi against RHP West Parsons for the Braves. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 pm. The first leg of the homestand features a Post-Game Fireworks Show presented by Hard Rock Hotel and Casino on Saturday, Superhero Day and Mother's Day celebration on Sunday, Military Monday presented by Keesler Federal Credit Union and Bark in the Park presented by Raising Canes on Monday and a Business Person's Special on Tuesday at 10:35 am.
