The Chicago White Sox announced two roster moves ahead of the team's series opener at Kansas City. Outfielder Eloy Jiménez completed his rehab with the Knights and was reinstated from the 60-day injured list. Additionally, infielder Jake Burger was optioned back to Charlotte.

The Chicago White Sox announced two roster moves ahead of the team's series opener at Kansas City. Outfielder Eloy Jiménez completed his rehab with the Knights and was reinstated from the 60-day injured list. Additionally, infielder Jake Burger was optioned back to Charlotte.

Jiménez appeared in 10 games with the Charlotte Knights on rehab and hit .263 (10-for-38) with three runs scored, two doubles, one home run and two RBIs. The 24-year-old has yet to appear in a game with the White Sox this season. He was placed on Chicago’s 60-day Injured List on April 1.

Last season, Jiménez hit .296 (63-for-213) with 26 runs scored, 14 doubles, 14 home runs and 41 RBIs over 55 games with Chicago. In 2019, he hit .267 (125-for-468) with 69 runs scored, 18 doubles, two triples, 31 home runs and 79 RBIs.

Burger hit .263 (10-for-38) with five runs scored, three doubles, one triple, one home run and three RBIs in 15 games with the White Sox this season. With the Knights, Burger, 25, is hitting .322 (55-for-171) with 29 runs scored, 15 doubles, one triple, 10 home runs and 36 RBIs in 42 games. He entered the season ranked by Baseball America as the number 17 prospect in the White Sox system.
