Opening Day Roster Announced

The Eugene Emeralds, proud Minor League affiliate of Major League Baseball's Chicago Cubs, today announced the team's Opening Day roster.

The Emeralds are entering the organization's fifth consecutive season as an affiliate of the Cubs. During that time, the Ems have claimed two Northwest League Championships, the most recent coming just last season.
Heading into 2019, Eugene will be aiming to capture the organization's third NWL title over the past four seasons. 
Of the 33 players named to the Opening Day roster, 16 have prior experience with the Ems. Of those 16 Ems alums, 15 played a part on last season's NWL title-winning team.
