Sunday marked the Patriots 12th shutout victory of the season.
Despite splitting the series with Binghamton, Somerset outscored the Rumble Ponies 40-17 over the six-game set.
Over the last five games of the series, Somerset’s bullpen posted a 0.58 ERA, allowing only 1 R in 15.1 IP.

Sunday marked Abeyta’s ninth quality start over 18 starts this season. Over four starts vs. Binghamton this season, Abeyta posted a 3.24 ERA with 10 K in 13.2 IP. Abeyta has now struck out 7+ in eight of his 18 starts this season.
C Ben Rice (2-for-3, BB) registered his ninth multi-hit game in 20 games with Somerset this season. Rice concluded the six-game series vs. Binghamton 12-for-23 (.521) with 2 HR, 9 RBI, and 7 R.
