He singled in the fifth, but 19th-ranked Omar Estevez was thrown out at the plate to deny Ruiz another RBI. Rays C Ronaldo Hernandez, Class A Advanced Charlotte: 2-for-4, 4 RBIs -- The sixth-ranked Rays prospect ignited the Stone Crabs' offense in the first inning. After the bases were walked full, Hernandez singled up the middle to score two runs. He was thrown out trying to advance to second base but smacked the first pitch he saw the following inning to center again for another two-run single. It was the 21-year-old's first multi-hit game of the season and raised his average 29 points to .157. Gameday box score
Indians RHP Luis Oviedo, Class A Lake County: 6 IP, 2H, 1 R, 0 ER, 3 BB, 5 K -- The Indians' No. 8 prospect has made four starts for the Captains this season and hasn't given up an earned run in three of them. Facing South Bend in the second game of a doubleheader, Oviedo made one mistake, surrendering a solo homer to Angel Lopez with two outs in the second inning. Red Sox OF Jarren Duran, Class A Advanced Salem: 3-for-4, BB, 2B, 3B, RBI, R -- The 10th-ranked Red Sox prospect was the catalyst out of the leadoff spot in the nightcap of a doubleheader, falling a homer shy of the cycle. Duran opened the game with a triple to right-center and scored on a double play to put Salem in front for good. He singled to left-center to score Charlie Madden in a three-run second and doubled to left an inning later. The seventh-round pick in last year's Draft grounded out in the seventh but has collected multiple hits in four of his last five games to bump his average up to .386. Gameday box score
Padres OF Jeisson Rosario, Class A Advanced Lake Elsinore: 3-for-4, BB, 2B, RBI, R -- The Padres' No. 22 prospect recorded his first three-hit game of the season in the Storm's 7-2 win over Inland Empire. He walked and scored in the third inning on a triple by Olivier Basabe. Rosario singled in the fifth before another knock in the sixth plated Taylor Kohlwey and he hit his second double of the season in the eighth. The 19-year-old owns a .379 on-base percentage in his second full Minor League season and already has walked 15 times in 14 games. Gameday box score
Rockies OF Sam Hilliard, Triple-A Albuquerque: 1-for-4, HR, RBI, R -- Hilliard extended his home run streak to three games when he smacked a one-out solo shot off veteran left-hander Tommy Milone in the third inning. It was the lone hit for the Rockies' No. 9 prospect, who's 4-for-9 with three walks during the streak to get his slash line up to .203/.313/.493. He homered in three straight games twice during the 2017 season for Class A Advanced Lancaster. Gameday box score
Mariners C Cal Raleigh, Class A Advanced Modesto: 3-for-4, 2 BB, 2B, 2 RBIs, R -- The first three-hit game of 2019 for Seattle's 13th-ranked prospect began with a single and a run scored in the first inning. Raleigh singled again in the fourth but was thrown out trying to take second base. Before being replaced behind the plate by Manny Pazos, the 22-year-old ripped a two-out double to center field that knocked in Ariel Sandoval and Jack Larsen to cap the scoring in the Nuts' four-run fifth. Raleigh has a four-game hitting streak and has reached base safely in six consecutive contests. Gameday box score

Cardinals LHP Austin Gomber, Triple-A Memphis: 7 IP, 0 R, 3 H, 6 K, 1BB -- The tall left-hander pitched a gem, going the distance in a seven-inning shutout. He yielded three hits and struck out six in the Redbirds' 3-0 victory over Round Rock. It was his second career shutout and first since pitching a one-hitter for Class A Peoria on May 18, 2015. In four Pacific Coast League starts, Gomber has held opponents to a .215 average, striking out 22 over 22 1/3 innings. Gameday box score
White Sox C Seby Zavala, Triple-A Charlotte: 2-for-3, 2 HR, 2 RBIs, 2 R -- Zavala accounted for all of the Knights' offense in the second game of a doubleheader with a pair of solo homers. He connected off Norfolk starter Josh Rogers in the second inning and again off reliever Matt Wotherspoon in the seventh. It was the second career multi-homer game for the 22nd-ranked White Sox prospect, who also went yard twice for Class A Kannapolis on May 19, 2017. The big nightcap ended a 1-for-21 slump for the 25-year-old backstop. Gameday box score
