Adams, 20, is an exciting prospect that has a wide open path to the majors and has an interesting future.

Adams was drafted in 2018 in the first round out of Green Hope, HS in North Carolina. He is the son of a football player and it's apparent in his athleticism. Adams is one of the fastest players in the minors, though it hasn't shown up in the stolen bases department. His speed allows him to play in center field although like his baserunning he still needs to work on the finer points. At the plate he's still raw and like many other Angels prospects has reworked his swing multiple times. He has decent pop but not quite what the other Jordon (Adell) has.

He debuted professionally right after being drafted in 2018. He progressed through the Arizona league and the Pioneer league, holding his own, especially for an athlete that was more of a football player than a baseball player until he was drafted. His season was cut short when he collided with another player in the field and broke his jaw. 2019 he returned and played for Burlington for most of the season, doing well all while undergoing swing changes. Adams would then make an appearance for Inland Empire.

The Angels #3 prospect on the Top 50 list from Prospects1500 is someone to keep an eye on as the future is bright with him.
