The Tacoma Rainiers beat the El Paso Chihuahuas 7-4 Wednesday night and they’ve won the first two games of the series.

The Chihuahuas came back twice early to tie the score after being down 3-0 and 4-3, but Tacoma scored the game’s final three runs. El Paso shortstop Matthew Batten reached base three times, going 2-for-4 with a walk. Chihuahuas left fielder Taylor Kohlwey went 0-for-3 with a walk, ending his hitting streak at seven games.

San Diego Padres outfielder Adam Engel played seven innings on MLB injury rehab and went 0-for-4. Seattle Mariners outfielder Taylor Trammell also appeared on MLB injury rehab and went 1-for-2 with an RBI. Tacoma catcher Jacob Nottingham went 2-for-3 with two early home runs, four RBIs and a walk.
