MODESTO, CA - Rawhide snapped a six-game losing streak by defeating the Modesto Nuts 4-3. This is the only meeting between the two Central Valley Teams and the Rawhide finally came out on top in Game 4 of the series.

Jose Cabrera picked up his second win of the season. He got into trouble early and gave up three runs in the first inning. He gave up two singles, a double, and hit a batter with two outs to allow the three earned runs to score. After the first inning, he pitched five scoreless innings to keep Visalia in the game.

Visalia tied up the game in the second inning by scoring three runs with two outs, just like how the Nuts did. Three consecutive two-out doubles followed by a single drove in the needed runs to tie the game. In the fifth inning, the 'Hide had the bases loaded with no outs. The Nuts pitcher Adrian Quintana recorded the next two outs, but then walked Gavin Conticello to allow Manuel Pena to score. That fourth run was all the Rawhide needed to win their first game of the series.

Visalia's bullpen pitched three scoreless innings between Alfred Morillo (2 innings) and Listher Sosa (one inning). They gave up six hits and walked two batters combined.
