(Reading, PA) - The Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, return home to take on the Erie SeaWolves, Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The six game series kicks off on Tuesday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m. and goes through Sunday, June 1.

Tuesday, May 27 is an Education Game Day thanks to Baseballtown Charities and MLB Play Ball. On Wednesday, May 28 the first 2,000 kids 12 and under will receive a Hershey Park admission ticket. Thursday, May 29 is a tribute to Disney’s “Lilo & Stitch” Movie. After the conclusion of the game on Friday, May 30, there will be a fireworks show presented by Vertex Mechanical. On Saturday, May 31 there will be a Carpenter Mega Blast Fireworks show. This will be the largest fireworks show in stadium history thanks to Countryside. To end the series on Sunday, June 1 the first 2,000 kids will receive a Nick Singleton Hometown Hero bobble head thanks to Klee Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A free photo session with Hometown Hero Nick Singleton will start at 5:15 p.m. thanks to Berkshire Hathaway.

The Fightin Phils are fresh off their series away against the Portland Sea Dogs. This was the third meeting between the two teams of the 2025 season as the Sea Dogs took the series 4-3. The Fightin Phils had a comeback win on Sunday, May 25 in the ninth inning as they went from 3-1 to the final score of 5-3, all thanks to Robert Moore who hit a triple on two outs. Aidan Miller extended his record of games on-base to 11 as Keaton Anthony added to his doubles and remains the leader of them in the Eastern League.

The Erie SeaWolves wrapped up their home series against the Hartford Yard Goats, Double-A affiliate of the Colorado Rockies, where they won the series 5-1. The SeaWolves now have 30 wins under their belt and became the first team in the Eastern League to rack up that amount of wins. They also matched their season-high record of 18 runs in their second game of the series against the Yard Goats.

Top 30 Detroit Tigers prospects include: catcher Thayron Liranzo, RHP Jaden Hamm, RHP Troy Melton, LHP Jake Miller, RHP Joseph Montalvo, outfielder Robert Campos, second baseman Max Anderson, outfielder Justice Bigbie, RHP RJ Petit, and RHP Rosber Sanchez.

RHP Wil Crowe kicks it off on the mound for Reading on Tuesday, May 27 against RHP Garrett Burhenn. RHP Chuck King will go opposite RHP Joseph Montalvo on Wednesday, May 28. On Thursday, May 29, LHP Bradaen Fausnaught will face off against RHP Troy Melton. Friday, May 30 RHP Luke Russo and RHP Jaden Hamm are slated to take the mound. RHP Jean Cabrera will go opposite LHP Carlos Pena on Saturday, May 31.

The Fightin Phils return to the field on Tuesday at 11 a.m. against the Erie SeaWolves and starting pitchers have yet to be announced. Pregame coverage is underway at 10:45 a.m. on the Reading Fightin Phils Radio Network.
