The Redbirds (33-22) scored 11 runs on 10 hits in the seventh and eighth innings and drew four walks. Memphis batted around in each inning and sent a total of 20 men to the plate. Prior to tonight's win, the Redbirds had scored a total of two runs on 15 hits in the last two games combined.
Six Redbirds had multiple hits Friday night, led by Harrison Bader's 3-for-5 showing with three RBI. Alberto Rosario also drove in three runs after entering the game as a defensive replacement in the fourth. Rangel Ravelo doubled twice and extended his hitting streak to 14 games.
None of the Redbirds' runs Friday night came via the home run.

He gave way to Josh Lucas , who moved to 5-0 with 2.0 perfect innings of relief, and Miguel Socolovich , who made his Redbird season debut and pitched a perfect ninth to finish the victory.
The Redbirds were 8-for-15 with runners in scoring position after going 0-for-12 in the situation over the last two ballgames.
