Albuquerque, NM – The Reno Aces (32-23, 67-63) fell in heartbreaking fashion in a walk-off loss to the Albuquerque Isotopes (26-30, 52-79) 4-3 Saturday night at Isotopes Park.
Blaze Alexander, who returned to the lineup after missing the previous two games, walloped a double in the first inning and came around to cash in on a run scoring groundball off the bat of Kyle Garlick. Alexander entered the evening hitting .346/.357/.500 with a double and a homer since his return from his latest stint with the Diamondbacks.
