Frisco, TX-The Arkansas Travelers (27-28) never trailed until the final swing of the game on Sunday night, dropping a 5-4 decision to the Frisco RoughRiders (19-37) in 10 innings. It was the fifth extra inning game of the season for the Travs, all on the road. The Travs had early leads at 1-0 and 4-1 but neither side scored after the fifth inning until Frisco's winner in the tenth. The RoughRider bullpen shutout the Travs for six innings with just three hits. Frisco won the series, two games to one and forced the Travs into a .500 roadtrip at 3-3. Arkansas remains just one-half game back of division leading Springfield with all four North Division clubs within 1.5 games of first.
Moments That Mattered
* Joey Curletta homered to open the second inning and the Travs would get three more hits in the inning but were unable to add any runs after having a runner picked off at second base.
* The first five hitters of the fifth inning reached on three singles and two walks as three runs scored but Arkansas was unable to add on despite having runners at second and third with none out.
* Luis Yander La O tied the game in the bottom of the fifth with his first homer of the season, a three-run shot.
* Arkansas had a runner at third with one out in the tenth but a pair of strikeouts prevented the Travs from taking the lead.
* The winning run scored on a bloop single from La O over a drawn in infield, his third hit of the night.
