Gideon and Jankins Named Rattlers Player and Pitcher of the Month for August

GRAND CHUTE, WI - The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have announced Ronnie Gideon and Thomas Jankins as the August recipients of the Sam's Club Player of the Month and Pitcher of the Month awards.

Gideon led the Timber Rattlers in hits (26), homers (4), doubles (7), and RBI (16) during August. He also tied for the second on the team in stolen bases (4) and committed just one error in 24 games at first base last month.

Jankins, who was also the Timber Rattlers Pitcher of the Month in July, was 3-2 with a 2.35 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 30-2/3 innings pitched over six appearances for the Timber Rattlers last month.
