PEARL, MS - Atlanta Braves catcher Tyler Flowers  has been reinstated from the disabled list and will join the Major League club tonight in Philadelphia. 

PEARL, MS - Atlanta Braves catcher Tyler Flowers  has been reinstated from the disabled list and will join the Major League club tonight in Philadelphia. 

Flowers was added to the Mississippi Braves roster on Thursday to continue his rehab assignment and caught all nine innings going 1-for-4 at the plate with a run scored. Flowers was placed on the disabled list March 30 after exiting a game the day before with oblique discomfort. He began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday and went 3-for-11 in three rehab games for the Stripers and Mississippi.

The M-Braves continue their third homestand at Trustmark Park tonight against the Jackson (TN) Generals at 7:00 pm. Gates will open at 6:00 pm with tickets available online at mississippibraves.com/tickets and 888-BRAVES4.

The active roster stands at 25 with 6 on the Disabled List.
