Freeman made his Triple-A debut in 2025 after spending all of 2024 with Double-A Frisco. The infielder has appeared in 79 games for the E-Train, posting a .315/.367/.494/.861 slash line while leading the club with 99 hits, 20 doubles and 60 runs scored. His 99 hits are tied for sixth and 155 total bases rank 10th in the Pacific Coast League.

Of the 10 PCL players with at least 95 hits this season, Freeman ranks second in batting average with the least number of at-bats (314). He owns the league’s second-lowest strikeout percentage (8.9) (min. 200 PA) while posting just two multiple-strikeout games this season, the first of which came in his 62nd game. Freeman has put 289 balls in play across 348 plate appearances and has not struck out in 51 games played this season (65%).

The 24-year-old was named the Texas Rangers Minor League Player of the Month in June after batting .347 (34-98) with five doubles, six homers, 19 RBI and 24 runs scored. Among Pacific Coast League hitters, Freeman tied for third in runs scored (24) and sixth in total bases (57) and ranked fourth in hits (34) and sixth in batting average (.347). Freeman hit safely in 21 of his 23 games in June, including 10 straight from June 19-29 to conclude the month.

Freeman was named the Texas Rangers Minor League Defender of the Year after the 2024 campaign, in which he committed just four errors in 284 chances for a .986 fielding percentage. Over the season with Frisco, Freeman hit .264 with a career-high 33 doubles, 14 home runs and 15 stolen bases over 123 games.

The Pomona, California native is playing in his sixth season in the Texas organization after being originally selected by the Rangers in the fourth round of the 2019 MLB Draft out of Etiwanda High School.

Round Rock and Las Vegas are scheduled to open their three-game series at Las Vegas Ballpark tonight 9:05 p.m. CT. Express LHP Michael Plassmeyer (4-2, 4.45) will face Aviators LHP Ken Waldichuk (0-2, 11.00).
