Zach Hall homered twice as the Grand Junction Rockies won for the fifth straight game, beating the Great Falls Voyagers 10-3 Sunday at Suplizio Field.
Hall now has two multi homer games this season and six homers overall. His first of the day broke a scoreless tie in the third, and started a four run inning. Will Golsan doubled home Cristopher Navarro, and after Hunter Stovall's sacrifice fly, Grant Lavigne singled home a run to make it 4-0.
Ryan Feltner started for the Rockies and worked out of a bases loaded jam in the third to keep the Voyagers off the board, but Jhoandro Alfaro's 2-run homer in the fourth ended his day. He struck out six in 3.2 innings, and after Reagan Biechler tossed 1.1 scoreless innings after him, Ryan Fitzpatrick made it a 4-3 game with a home run in the sixth, but that was as close as the Voyagers would get.
Reese Berberet made it a four run game when he plated Lavigne and Javier Guevara with his fifth homer of 2018 in the bottom of the inning, part of a second four run frame, and after Lavigne drove home Niko Decolati with a seventh inning single, Hall homered in the eighth.
Lavigne and Hall finished with three hits, while Golsan and Navarro added a pair. Golsan stole two bases.
Reagan Todd earned the win for the Rockies after tossing two hitless innings.
The win improves Grand Junction to 19-17 on the season and they've won seven in a row at home.
The Rockies will go for a sixth straight win in game three of their four game series against Great Falls. The first pitch is set for 6:40.
