DUNEDIN, Fla. (June 11, 2018) - Jesús Sánchez' two-run double sealed the Charlotte Stone Crabs' 8-6 win in 11 innings Monday at Dunedin Stadium.
After two walks loaded the bases in a tie game in the top of the 11th, Sanchez cranked a double off the wall in deep left center, plating two to give the Stone Crabs (29-31) an 8-6 lead.
J.D. Busfield (1-3) went two innings in extras to get the win, not allowing an earned run while surrendering just one hit.

Sanchez finished the night with three hits and two doubles, increasing his batting average to .330, the best amongst active qualifiers on the team.
After Charlotte scored two in the top of the second on a Josh Lowe double and Jake Fraley sacrifice fly, Dunedin (26-32) scored five unanswered runs against Stone Crabs starter Brendan McKay .
McKay lasted just 2.2 innings, allowing a career-high five runs, three walks and six hits.
Trailing 5-3 in the top of the eight, Charlotte third baseman Tristan Gray doubled to left center before Fraley singled him home on a line drive to right.
Down by one in the ninth, Lucius Fox walked before Miles Mastrobuoni bunted into a fielder's choice. After Mastrobuoni advanced to second on a hit by pitch, a passed ball moved him to third. The Blue Jays then uncorked a wild pitch, allowing Mastrobuoni to score and tie the game at five.
After the Stone Crabs scored on a Fraley single in the top of the tenth, Dunedin responded with an Eduard Pinto sacrifice fly to send it to the 11th.
The Stone Crabs are now 3-2 in extra-inning games, all of which have come on the road. Monday's game was Charlotte's longest of the season in both time (3:46) and innings (11).
They'll look to clinch at least a split with the Blue Jays on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Coverage starts at 6:15 p.m. on the Stone Crabs Baseball Network.
