Saltillo, Coah.- (www.saraperos.com.mx/Fernando Valdés) 28 de noviembre de 2021.- Los Sultanes de Monterrey rompen duelo de pitcheo con rally de 4 carreras en la octava que se combina con 4 errores para derrotar 7 a 0 a Saraperos de Saltillo, triunfo para Alexis Vera que superó en el duelo monticular a Yahir Velázquez ambos con labor de 6 entradas en la conclusión de la temporada regular de la Liga Invernal Mexicana.
Yahir Velázquez, abridor de Saraperos de Saltillo y Alexis Vera, rival monticular de parte de los Sultanes de Monterrey comenzaron la jornada dominical con un duelo de pitcheo colgando ceros en las tres primeras entradas.
Velázquez por el sarape retiró la primera entrada, incluido ponche a José Robledo; en la segunda tanda colgó el cero en cuatro bateadores y en el tercer episodio salió con “scone” de ponchados al pasar con la velocidad a Carlos Munguía, Carlos Urías y Javier Macías.
Los regiomontanos abrieron el marcador con una carrera, aprovechando error del segunda base, a batazo de Andrés Kirk, con la pifia timbró José Robledo.
Saltillo amenazó en la baja del cuarto rollo, David Peña abrió el inning con doblete, avanzó a la antesala con rola de Leonel Valenzuela a la intermedia, Cristian Olguín se ponchó y Andrés Ayón conectó un batazo profundo que capturó el jardinero derecho recargado en la barda, para terminar la amenaza.
Sultanes timbró la segunda carrera en el quinto episodio, Carlos Urías y Héctor Jácquez ligaron sencillos y con rola para doble play de José Ceceña anotó Urías la segunda del juego.
Yahir Velázquez colgó el cero en la sexta para cerrar su actuación, dejando su lugar al saltillense José Antonio Velázquez que colgó la argolla en la fatídica; en la séptima vino a sacar el cero el saltillense Naim Villarreal incluido ponche a Carlos Urías.
En la octava, la escuadra regiomontana armó rally de 4 carreras ante el debutante saltillense Ángel Moreno, aprovechando el descontrol y par de errores de la defensiva saltillense, Andrés
Kirk abrió con hit, Víctor Ortega recibe base; Gerardo Castro toca la bola y sacan al corredor más adelantado.
Carlos Murguía con doble produce a Víctor Ortega, Carlos Urías recibe base para llenar las almohadillas, sale del juego Ángel Moreno y releva William Corvera, Héctor Jácquez se embasa en error del campo corto, anotan Castro y Murguía y Urías anota con rola de José Ceceña.
El bullpen regio ya no permitió concesiones a los Saraperos en la octava entrada, mientras timbraban la séptima carrera en la novena de “caballito” ante la serpentina de Jaime Beltrán.
