Scrappers Release 2021 Promotional Schedule

Featuring 6 Fireworks Shows, 5 Giveaways, 6 Buck Nights and 2 Specialty Jerseys

Niles, OH- The Mahoning Valley Scrappers are proud to announce the 2021 Promotional Schedule for the inaugural season of the MLB Draft League. Season highlights include six post-game fireworks shows, four full-sized bobblehead giveaways, six Buck Nights and two specialty jersey nights.

Two high energy entertainers will be making their way to Eastwood Field this summer:

• Saturday, May 29 - The Zooperstars, baseball's fan favorite entertainment group presented by Fairfield Inn Warren-Niles, Farmers National Bank and Mix 98.9
• Friday, June 18 - Baseball's Rock Stars Bucket Ruckus and Fireworks presented by Fairfield Inn Warren-Niles, 717 Credit Union, Flex Strut, The Hot Dog Shoppe, 21 WFMJ, WBCB and Mix 98.9

The Scrappers will wear two specialty jerseys this season that will be auctioned off at games and on the LiveSource App:

• Thursday, July 22 - The Scrappers will change their name for the day to the Mahoning Valley Peppers & Oil presented by the Italian Food Trail (Trumbull County Tourism Bureau) with jersey auction proceeds to United Way of Trumbull County.
• Wednesday, August 11 - The Scrappers will wear Autism Awareness jerseys with jersey auction proceeds to The Rich Center for Autism.

Five Giveaways include:

• Youth Jersey Giveaway (12 & under) presented by Armstrong - June 5
• Youngstown Native Ed O'Neill Bobblehead Giveaway presented by the Eastwood Mall Complex & 21 WFMJ & WBCB
• Francisco Lindor and Jose Ramirez Double Bobblehead presented by Toyota of Warren & 21 WFMJ & WBCB
• Roberto Perez Bobblehead presented by Auto-Owners Insurance (Champion Insurance of Austintown - Tom Uher, Daubenmire Insurance, Paige & Byrnes Insurance) & 21 WFMJ & WBCB
• Nolan Jones Bobblehead presented by 21 WFMJ & WBCB

The Scrappers 2021 Season is presented by Lordstown Motors. The Mahoning Valley Scrappers are a founding member of the MLB Draft League, set to open the 2021 season on the road May 24 against the West Virginia Black Bears. The Scrappers home opener at Eastwood Field is Wednesday, May 26 against the State College Spikes.
