WORCESTER, MA – Adopting an unusual new ticket policy, the Worcester Red Sox will cap full season tickets at 2,100 per game at Polar Park in 2021. The limit is designed to ensure that all fans have access to the most desirable seats in the house. The club is currently closing in on 2,000 full season tickets per game.

The first category to sell out is the DCU Club, which holds more than 400 seats. The club will hold some DCU Club seats for single game sales, again to ensure that all fans have access to the amenities and comforts in these elevated and highly-desirable sections behind home plate.

“The response to full season tickets has been really exciting,” said Rob Crain, the WooSox’ Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. “Enthusiasm has risen even higher since fans have begun to select their seat locations. Yet even with family-friendly Early Bird pricing, we recognize that people’s schedules don’t always allow for a full-season commitment. With that in mind, we want to make sure that everyone has access to the best seats in the ballpark.”

The Las Vegas Aviators are believed to be the only other Triple-A club that has currently publicly capped their season tickets.

The WooSox will maintain “Early Bird Pricing” through the end of the year—December 31, 2020.

The club announced on August 17, 2018 that it would move to Worcester and build Polar Park. Exactly one year later, on August 17, 2019, the club began to accept deposits on full season tickets. On September 17, 2020, the club released the Polar Park Seating Manifest (attached), which allowed the seat selection process to begin. Members of the WooSox sales staff have been working personally with each season ticket holder, sometimes even on-site at Polar Park, to help fans identify and choose their seat locations.
