Series preview: A FUNN-packed series as Squirrels return to The Diamond
The Erie SeaWolves, Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, will be in town from Tuesday, May 13 through Sunday, May 18. Their current roster boasts ten of the top 30 prospects for the Tigers organization.

The Flying Squirrels are heating up after a slow start to the season. Carter Howell and Joe Whitman were named Eastern League player and pitcher of the week respectively by MiLB on May 5 for their standout performances the week prior.
This series features the return of Bluey to The Diamond, this time joined by her sister Bingo, a Squirreltoberfest celebration, In-Your-Face fireworks and even a specialty jersey highlighting the delicious Hanover tomatoes.

The Flying Squirrels are celebrating another group of Richmond Region students who successfully completed the Go Nuts for Reading Program.
Students who completed the Go Nuts for Reading Program, presented by M&T Bank, will celebrate their accomplishment at The Diamond. The pre-game parade will take place from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Students who would like to participate in the parade must be in line by 5:35 p.m.
The General Admission section is expected to sell out for this game. The Flying Squirrels recommend that parents of students joining us as a part of the reading program purchase their tickets before May 13. Parents can also upgrade their child’s free ticket to the Terrace Level for $4 and to the Field Level for $8.
It’s also the next Silver Squirrels game. Fans ages 55 and older are eligible to join the Silver Squirrels club presented by OrthoVirginia and receive member benefits, including tickets to every Tuesday home game, an exclusive T-shirt and a concession voucher. Is there anything better than a Hanover tomato in the summer? Join the Flying Squirrels in saluting one of Central Virginia’s favorite summer delicacies.
The Flying Squirrels will take the field wearing specialty Hanover Tomato jerseys. Proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit the Mechanicsville Rotary Foundation and their beneficiaries including Hanover Safe Place, Hanover Crew Foundation and Hanover Community Support Services. Fans can bid on jerseys here.

Wackadoo! Bluey and her little sister Bingo are headed to The Diamond – for real life! Come and meet eveyone’s favorite heelers in person for plenty of smiles and a photo.
Bluey and Bingo will be greeting fans in the Picnic Zone, located down the third-base side of The Diamond. They will be greeting fans for the entirety of the game.
Fans have the opportunity to build with LEGOs on the main stage. Watch a LEGO NINJAGO episode during postgame Kids Run the Bases.
Members of the Squirrel Tails Kids Club presented by Atlantic Union Bank get in FREE! The Squirrel Tails Kids Club is free to join for children ages 14 and under and includes a General Admission ticket voucher to select Sunday home games. Click here to register your child.
Bring your glove and play catch on the field from 12:45-1:05 p.m. Fans playing catch on the field can enter the field through the field gates located at sections 103/104 and 118/119.
Kids ages 14 and younger can run the bases following the game presented by Richmond Family Magazine. Kids can line up to run the bases outside the Squirrels Nest Team Store at the end of the first-base side of the main concourse. Parents and guardians are allowed to accompany their children onto the field and meet them as they cross home plate.
