The Patriots came within four outs of their sixth shutout win of the season, before five unearned runs scored for Bowie in the bottom of the eighth inning.

With two first inning home runs, Somerset set a new franchise record with 15 home runs during the six-game series in Bowie.

RHP Yoendrys Gomez (3.0 IP, 0 R, H, 2 BB, 3 K) threw 41 pitches in his seventh start of the season and did not factor into a decision.

1B T.J. Rumfield (2-for-4, 2 RBI, R, HR, K) opened up the scoring with his 15th home run of the season.
