Three Sox batters recorded multi-RBI games, but the Round Rock Express used a seven-run fourth inning to pull away with a 10-7 win in the series opener Monday night in front of 2,190 at Security Service Field.

Lewis Brinson posted his third three-hit game of the season with a pair of singles and a double, and also recorded his first three-RBI game of 2017, driving in Kyle Wren in the first, third and fifth innings. René García drove in a pair of runs on a two-run single in the sixth inning, while Nate Orf chipped in a pair of RBI with a pair of singles to score Brinson in the first and third innings.
After the Express took a pair of leads with three solo home runs in the first two innings, the Sky Sox (32-22) fought back, scoring a pair of runs to tie the game in the first inning and a pair of runs in the third inning to take an early 4-3 lead.
The Sky Sox aim for their first win of the season against the Express in game two of the four-game series, with first pitch at 6:40 p.m. MT. LHP Brent Suter (3-1, 3.54) looks to build upon his solid five-inning outing in Oklahoma City Tuesday night when he faces Round Rock RHP Allen Webster (4-3, 6.28). Tuesday night is another $2 Tuesday, when tickets, parking and Coors products are all a budget-friendly two dollars.
