Shorebirds' Four Game Series Includes Giveaway, Fireworks, & More

SALISBURY, Md. -- The Delmarva Shorebirds, Class-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, will host a four game series against the Hickory Crawdads at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium from Thursday, June 1st through Sunday, June 4th.
The series kicks off on Thursday, June 1st with Maryland Pride Thursday and KISS 95.9 Thirsty Thursday, presented by University Village at Salisbury. The team will wear their Maryland Flag themed jerseys and the Shorebirds encourage you to wear your Maryland Pride gear to join the fun. Fans over 21 years of age can enjoy cans of Miller Lite and Coors Light; as well as, Pepsi fountain drinks for $2.
We will be celebrating Sherman's birthday with a bunch of his mascot friends on Friday, June 2nd, presented by Sherwood of Salisbury. Friday is another Orange Friday with a special giveaway! The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Draw String Bag that replicates the 2017 Orange Friday Jerseys that the Shorebirds wear! Miller Lite and Coors Light 32 oz. drafts are only $6 thanks to it being Froggy 99.9 Big Beer Friday. It's also a Hit the Books game, presented by Dr. James M. Crouse at The Brace Place. 
Little League Night is on Saturday, June 3rd accompanied with a fantastic Q105 fireworks show after the game, presented by Wawa.
The series concludes against the Crawdads on Sunday, June 4th with a Perdue Strike Out Hunger Sunday. Bring 2 canned food items to the Shorebirds box office and receive an upper reserved ticket for $3. All collected items will be donated to the local area food banks. It's also another Hit the Books game, presented by Dr. James M. Crouse at The Brace Place. Kids can Run the Bases after the game, thanks to Chili's Grill and Bar.
Game times for Thursday, June 1st through Saturday, June 3rd are scheduled for 7:05 PM starts. Saturday, the gates will open at 4:00 PM for fans to enjoy watching Shorebirds' and visitor's batting practice. The game on Sunday, June 4th is scheduled for a 2:05 PM start with gates opening at 1:00 PM.
