Shuckers, Mississippi State Announce Fall Ball Exhibition Games in Biloxi

Bulldogs to welcome Auburn, Southern Miss for pair of games on October 9, 10

BILOXI, MS – The Biloxi Shuckers and Mississippi State have announced that the Bulldogs will play a pair of games at Keesler Federal Park on Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10, as part of the Hancock Whitney Classic. The Bulldogs will play Auburn on October 9 at 6:00 p.m.

The Bulldogs will play Auburn on October 9 at 6:00 p.m. and Southern Miss on October 10 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are available now through the Shuckers Box Office or online by clicking HERE (Mississippi State-Auburn) and HERE (Mississippi State-Southern Miss).

“We’re excited to welcome the Bulldogs, Golden Eagles, Tigers and their fans to Kessler Federal Park this fall,” Shuckers General Manager Hunter Reed said. “These fan bases are some of the most passionate in college baseball and partnering with Hancock Whitney to continue these games is an honor.”

Tickets start at $24 for students and Season Ticket Members in the reserved level, and $26 for the general public. Suites are also available for the game through the Biloxi Shuckers Sales Department. Fans are encouraged to get their tickets in advance to receive a discount as prices will increase on the day of the game.

“We’re excited about returning to Biloxi in October,” Head Coach Brian O’Connor said. “We had an incredible experience down there in March and are looking forward to the opportunity to play baseball in front of our fans from the coast again. I’m proud of the team my staff has assembled and can’t wait to get them out there this fall and see what we can do against high-level competition like Auburn and Southern Miss.”

The Bulldogs enter the fall after reaching the Super Regionals under Head Coach Brian O’Connor’s in his first season in Starkville. The Bulldogs are also the only SEC team to return all three weekend starters. The weekend series also gives fans a first look at 13 new transfers and 11 high school signees, including a pair of Freshman All-Americans in Brady Christman and Josiah Overbeek.

The Southern Miss Golden Eagles will make a fall trip to Biloxi after winning the 2026 Sun Belt regular season and conference tournament titles. The Auburn Tigers will also make a return trip to Biloxi after a 40-win campaign and a Super Regional appearance in 2026.
