RHP Trystan Vrieling (5.0 IP, 8 H, 6 ER, 1 BB, 6 K) allowed season-highs in hits and runs in his second straight losing decision.

RHP Leonardo Pestana (2.0 IP, 1 BB, 2 K) made his Double-A debut, pitching two perfect innings of relief, before walking the final batter he faced to lead off the eighth inning.

C Ben Rice (1-for-3, BB, K) had one of the Patriots’ three hits and drew his team-leading 15th walk of the season. Rice ends the day ranking among the Eastern League leaders with 47 TB (3rd), 15 BB (3rd) and 10 XBH (T-3rd).
