Nate Orf delivered the first Sky Sox postseason RBI in 20 years, but three Memphis home runs gave the Redbirds a 4-1 win in game one of the PCL semifinals in front of 4,006 at AutoZone Park Wednesday night.

Nate Orf delivered the first Sky Sox postseason RBI in 20 years, but three Memphis home runs gave the Redbirds a 4-1 win in game one of the PCL semifinals in front of 4,006 at AutoZone Park Wednesday night.

A solo home run gave the Redbirds an early 1-0 lead, but the Sky Sox battled back with a game-tying run in the third inning. Kyle Wren led off the inning with a walk. After stealing second base and advancing to third on a groundout, Orf lined a two-out single up the middle to tie the game at 1-1.
Taylor Jungmann went six innings for the sixth straight start, striking out a quartet of Redbirds in his second start of 2017 at AutoZone Park. Tyler Cravy tossed two scoreless innings of relief, striking out four Memphis batters while allowing a walk as his lone base runner.
RHP Aaron Wilkerson makes his season debut with the Sky Sox at 6:05 p.m. MT at AutoZone Park, looking to help the Sox tie the series against Memphis RHP Kevin Herget. During the regular season at Double-A Biloxi, Wilkerson went 11-4 with a 3.16 ERA against Southern League opposition.
