Nate Orf and Quintin Berry combined for seven hits, but the Round Rock Express used another seventh-inning rally to take game two of the series, 2-1, in front of 7,846 at the Dell Diamond Wednesday night.

Nate Orf and Quintin Berry combined for seven hits, but the Round Rock Express used another seventh-inning rally to take game two of the series, 2-1, in front of 7,846 at the Dell Diamond Wednesday night.

Starters Junior Guerra and Adrian Sampson tossed dueling scoreless innings in the early half of the game, but Orf greeted reliever Dario Álvarez with a two-out solo home run in the sixth inning to give the Sox a 1-0 lead. His ninth long ball of the season highlighted a four-hit night for Orf, who fell a triple shy of the cycle.
Guerra started the night for the Sox and allowed two hits over 4 1/3 scoreless innings, striking out four batters after walking the first two of the night. The pair of hits allowed tied his season-best, set August 20 against Oklahoma City.
The Sky Sox (77-55) look to salvage a game of the series in the final road game of the 2017 regular season Thursday night at 6:05 p.m. MT. RHP Taylor Jungmann (8-2, 2.77 ERA) takes the mound for Colorado Springs against Round Rock RHP David Ledbetter (3-3, 4.29 ERA).
