Stephen Vogt had his first two-hit game with the Sky Sox, but the Iowa Cubs shut out Colorado Springs, 2-0, in front of 5,159 Wednesday afternoon.

Rehabbing with the Sky Sox (71-49) for the second game this series, Vogt singled in his first two at-bats for his first pair of hits in a Colorado Springs uniform. The veteran MLB catcher had nine multi-hit games between Oakland and Milwaukee before landing on the disabled list and rehabbing in Class-A Wisconsin and Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Despite taking the loss, RHP Taylor Jungmann (8-2, 2.87 ERA) tossed his fifth quality start in his last six outings, allowing two earned runs on four hits while striking out four batters in six innings of work.
RHP Angel Ventura (6-3, 4.41 ERA) takes the ball for the start at 4:08 p.m. MT. The Sox look to even the series when the two American Northern Division rivals square off in the second doubleheader in three days.
