This event is entirely FREE to the public.
"The Sky Sox are proud and honored to be a small part of this huge endeavor being led by Wounded Warrior Project," said Chris Phillips, General Manager of the Sky Sox. This is not only a great opportunity to help support all of our brave service members, but Colorado Springs has the chance to begin something that could eventually impact military families all over the country."
The four major elements featured throughout the day are a VA Claims Clinic, Career Fair, Softball Tournament, and Resource Fair. Gates to the event at Security Service Field open at 9:00 a.m. and events begin at 10:00 a.m.

About Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org):
Wounded Warrior Project provides services to members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness or wound while serving in the military on or after September 11, 2001. In WWP, you are not a member but rather an alumnus; a valued part of a community that's been where you've been and understands what you need. Everything WWP offers is free because there is no dollar value to finding recovery and no limit to what our alumni can achieve. WWP connects our veterans and their family members to programs that will serve them in their needs ultimately empowering them to live life on their terms. We create engagement opportunities utilizing local businesses, other non-profit organizations and the entire community to reach those veterans and get them connected.
