The win marked Somerset’s ninth shutout win of the season and its seconds straight shutout of the RubberDucks. The pair of games mark Somerset’s second set of back-to-back shutouts this season (5/4-5/5 vs. Binghamton).

Entering Sunday, Somerset’s pitching staff has strung together 19 consecutive scoreless innings, its second-longest scoreless streak of the season.

Matt Sauer started the game with three perfect inning and was relieved by Tanner Myatt for four outs. Alex Mauricio earned the win with two scoreless innings, before Danny Watson picked up the save.

The performance marked Dominguez’s team-leading 24th multi-hit game of the season and his fourth three-hit game.

Of Dominguez’s four three-hit games, three of them have come in his last nine games. Over this stretch, Dominguez is 15-for-39, slashing .385/.455/.487 with 9 RBI, 5 BB and 4 SB.

Dating back to July 7, Dominguez ranks second in the Eastern League with 33 hits, third with a .351 AVG and 18 RBI, fourth with 46 TB and sixth with a .425 OBP.

Dominguez’s 55 RBIs are now one shy of the team lead.

2B Max Burt (1-for-4, R, K) started Somerset’s ninth inning rally with a two-out, two-strike single in the top of the ninth inning with the game tied 0-0.

RHP Danny Watson (1.0 IP, H, 2 K, SV) earned his fourth Double-A save of the season with a scoreless ninth inning.

Over his first 19 Double-A appearances, Watson has posted a 3-0 record, 1.09 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 28 K compared to 9 BB and 11 H in 24.2 IP with five holds and four saves.
