Q: What is planned at Clover Park in the next few days and weeks to prepare for the arrival of players?
A: The stadium and facility are being prepared to meet MLB, local health department and CDC guidelines to accommodate players, staff and fans.
Q: What changes and procedures are being put in place at Clover Park to cope with Covid-19?
A: The Mets are taking several measures to host people safely at the facility. This includes posting social distancing markers, requiring masks to be worn, installing hand sanitizer stations, utilizing pod seating and having staff disinfect and sanitize common areas.
Q: Will fans be allowed to attend workouts on the back fields?
A: For the safety of the players, coaches, staff and fans, team workouts will not be open to the public.
Q: Will fans be allowed to attend spring training games?
A: Yes. The Mets are planning to host fans at 20 percent capacity, which is approximately 1,400 fans. Clover Park’s seating capacity is 7,000.
Q: What time do games begin and when are gates open for fans?
A: All scheduled games will begin at 1:10 p.m. with the exception of the March 26th game against the Nationals, which will begin at 6:10 p.m. Gates open at 11:30 a.m. for 1:10 p.m. games. The Mets encourage ticket holders to arrive early to ensure a safe and socially distanced entrance procedure. Please check mets.com/springtraining and stluciemets.com for schedule and game time information, as all games/times are subject to change.
Q: What is the availability of spring training tickets?
A: Tickets will first be made available to spring training season ticket holders on February 16th. New York Mets season ticket holders and St. Lucie Mets season ticket holders will have tickets made available to them on February 18th. Remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public on February 20th.
Further details on how season ticket holders can purchase tickets will be emailed to all season ticket holders. Tickets for the general public on February 20th will be available on mets.com/springtraining beginning at 10 a.m.

A: Check mets.com/springtraining and stlucimets.com for updates. As of now tickets must be purchased online.
Q: What is the seating plan for 20 percent capacity?
A: Seats are being sold in pods of 1-6 fans each. All seating pods will be seated at least six feet from any other seating pod. Attendees must maintain six feet of distance from anyone not in their seating pod at all times while on the ballpark property. The first two rows closest to the field are blocked off to keep fans and players safely separated.
Q: What protocols will fans have to abide by when attending games?
A: All attendees must wear face coverings over their nose and mouth at all times on ballpark property other than when actively eating or drinking at their ticketed seats. The requirement of a face covering does not apply to any person with a medical condition or disability that prevents wearing a face covering.
Q: How will rules be enforced?
A: Stadium ushers and staff will monitor the crowd and ask all fans to comply with safety protocols. Attendees who do not comply with the face covering policy may be required to leave the ballpark. Stadium staff will continually sanitize and disinfect handrails, door handles and other commonly used areas.
Q: How will concession stands work?
A: Concession stands will be open and staffed in accordance with health and safety protocols. Every location will have a touchless payment option. There will be limited cash acceptance. We encourage fans to use credit cards at all locations.
Q: Will the Fan Shop be open?
A: The fan shop is currently open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Capacity will be limited to meet social distancing guidelines.
Q: Will cash be accepted for parking, tickets, concessions, souvenirs, etc.?
A: Yes, but on a limited basis. We encourage the use of credit cards and touchless payment.
