Star Wars, Fireworks, & Birthdays, 5/1-5/7

SALISBURY, Md. -- The Delmarva Shorebirds, Class-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, come back to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium for a seven game homestand on Tuesday, May 1st that runs through Monday, May 7th. The homestand contains a three game series with the Greenville Drive (affiliate of the Boston Red Sox) and a four game series against the Augusta GreenJackets (affiliate of the San Francisco Giants). The homestand consists of new and fun promotions including Bark in the Park, Star Wars Night, a bobblehead giveaway, Sherman's Birthday, and more!
The homestand begins on Tuesday, May 1st with the second Bark in the Park Night, presented by Johnson-McKee Animal Hospital. This is a great opportunity to bring your dog out to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium to enjoy a Shorebirds game. Gates open at 6:00 PM with first pitch against the Greenville Drive scheduled for 7:05 PM.
Wednesday, May 2nd is another Silver Sluggers and Baseball Bingo game, presented by Peninsula Home Care. Gates open at 6:00 PM with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 PM against the Greenville Drive.
On Thursday, May 3rd, the Shorebirds host the final Field of Dreams Day, presented by Chesapeake Health Care. The Shorebirds will be sporting their Maryland Pride jerseys, so show your support and wear your Maryland Pride gear! Gates open at 9:00 AM with first pitch against the Greenville Drive scheduled for 10:35 AM.
On Friday, May the 4th be with you! It's Star Wars night at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium! Star Wars night includes a special ticket package that includes an upper reserved ticket and a Shorebirds lightsaber for $15. This must be purchased online using the promo code "lightsaber". The first 1,000 fans through the gates receive a S-Trooper Manny Machado Bobblehead, presented by Mountain Dew. There will be Star Wars characters interacting with fans throughout the evening. Gates open at 6:00 PM with first pitch against the Augusta GreenJackets scheduled for 7:05 PM.
Stick around after the game on Saturday, May 5th for a fantastic Q105 Fireworks show, presented by The Delaware State Education Association. Gates open at 4:00 PM for fans to watch Shorebirds and GreenJackets batting practice. From 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, fans can purchase slices of pizza and small popcorn for $1 each at the Pizza Stand. Draft beers can be purchased by fans age 21 or older for $5 each. Inflatable games for kids will be free of charge from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, as well. Also, two Shorebirds players will be available to sign autographs in the Flock Shop before each Saturday home game from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM against the Augusta GreenJackets.
The Shorebirds will be celebrating Sherman's birthday on Sunday, May 6th, presented by Sherwood of Salisbury! A bunch of Sherman's local mascot friends will be out to celebrate with him and interact with the fans. May 6th is also a Perdue Strike Out Hunger Sunday, where fans can bring two canned food items to the Shorebirds box office and receive an upper reserved ticket for $3. Kids have the opportunity to run the bases after the game, presented by Chili's Grill & Bar. Gates open at 1:00 PM with first pitch against the Augusta GreenJackets scheduled for 2:05 PM.
The Shorebirds finish their homestand on Monday, May 7th with 47 ABC 2 Buck Monday, presented by Wicomico Heating & Air Conditioning. Fans can enjoy Upper Reserved tickets, hotdogs, and fountain Pepsi products for $2 each.
