The Power jumped out to a lead in the bottom of the second. With the bases loaded, Carlos Munoz ripped a line drive off the top of the right-center field wall that plated two. The throw coming in was errant, allowing Garrett Brown to come across as well. West Virginia led 3-0.<o:p>

Lexington got to Power starter Oddy Nunez in the top of the fourth. A two-run single from Vance Vizcaino got the Legends within one, 3-2. The Power added two in their half of the fifth. Trae Arbet ripped a three-run triple past a diving Khalil Lee in center.<o:p>

The Legends tied the game in the top of the sixth. John Brontsema launched his fourth home run of the year to plate three. Just a half inning later, Eagan sat on a hanging offspeed pitch from Arnaldo Hernandez and lifted it over the right field wall to give West Virginia a 6-5 advantage.<o:p>

The back-and-forth battle continued into the eighth. Emmanuel Rivera touched home on a sacrifice fly. Eagan's toss home from right was a tad late, tying the game yet again, it was 6-6. But the Legends completed their final comeback in the top of the ninth. A sacrifice fly to deep center from Emmanuel Rivera plated Khalil Lee gave the visitors a 7-6 lead. Rivera finished his day with three doubles.<o:p>

The Power went down to their final out in the bottom of the ninth. Arden Pabst launched a solo home run over the left-center field wall to tie the ball game.
