The Atlanta Braves get ready to wrap up spring training games this week with the regular season beginning on Thursday.

They approach the end of spring on a hot streak, going unbeaten in all but one game last week.

Here’s an overview of who’s stood out this past week:

Former Stripers:

INF Eli White (2023-24)

Last Week: 6 games, .300/.417/.500, 2 2B, 5 SO, 1 SB

This Spring: 20 games, .359/.432/.513, 3 2B, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 1 BB, 9 SO, 1 SB

White saw action in all six games last week, collecting hits in three of those games. Two of those hits went for extra-bases, helping White remain hot with a .303 average in March as he fights to make the Atlanta Opening Day roster.

P Bryce Elder (2021-24)

Last Week: 1 game, 0-0. 0.00 ERA, 3.0 IP, 1 H, 3 SO

This Spring: 5 games, 0-1, 4.97 ERA, 12.2 IP, 14 H, 7 ER, 5 BB, 12 SO

Optioned back to Gwinnett on March 23, Elder ended his spring with his best start the day prior at Detroit. Elder recorded three scoreless innings while allowing just one hit and striking out three in his first appearance since March 9.

P Daysbel Hernández (2021, 2023-24)

Last Week: 1 game, 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 1.1 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, 4 SO

This Spring: 8 games, 1-0, 4.15 ERA, 8.2 IP, 10 H, 4 ER, 4 BB, 4 SO

Hernández secured his fourth consecutive scoreless outing on March 20 vs. Philadelphia as he secured all four of his outs via strikeout, his most in an outing this spring. The righty holds a 2.70 ERA in 6.2 innings pitched this month.

Prospective Stripers:

INF Cal Conley

Last Week: .400/.400/.400, 1 SO, 1 SB

This Spring: .500/.533/.571, 1 2B, 1 BB, 2 SO, 3 SB

Conley ended his week on a high note with his second multi-hit game of Grapefruit League play. That came on March 22 at Detroit as he went 2-for-3 with a stolen base. Conley has totaled at least one hit in six of his nine games in March.

P Zach Thompson

Last Week: 1 game, 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 SV, 5.0 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 SO

This Spring: 1 game, 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 1 SV, 5.0 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 3 SO

Signed by the Braves as a minor league free agent, Thompson made his spring debut after not pitching in a game during the 2024 season. The righty was lights out in his return with five scoreless frames and three strikeouts on March 20 vs. Philadelphia. Thompson had just been added to the Braves’ spring roster that day.
