HOW IT HAPPENED: The Express concluded their 2026 season with a loss on Sunday afternoon. The E-Train grabbed an early lead in the second after 1B Jonah Bride drove in 2B Michael Helman with an RBI single. The Rainiers nabbed a 2-1 edge in the top half of the fifth.

The Express concluded their 2026 season with a loss on Sunday afternoon. The E-Train grabbed an early lead in the second after 1B Jonah Bride drove in 2B Michael Helman with an RBI single.

The Rainiers nabbed a 2-1 edge in the top half of the fifth. SS Ryan Bliss kicked it off with a sacrifice fly to right, allowing CF Stuart Fairchild to score from third. Four pitches later, 2B Leo Rivas hit a line drive up the middle that sent DH Victor Labrada home.

LF Cam Cauley evened the score at two with a solo home run to start the sixth inning.

In the ninth, RF Connor Joe started the inning with a double and later scored on an RBI single to left field from Fairchild. Tacoma held a 3-2 edge heading into the bottom half of the frame.

The Express could not find the tying run in the bottom of the ninth as they fell in the season finale, 3-2, to the Rainiers.

E-TRAIN EXCERPTS:

WHERE WE STAND: The Express finished the 2026 season with a 73-77 record…went 31-44 in the 1st half of the season and 42-33 in the 2nd half…have won 70+ games in 5 consecutive seasons and held a win percentage of at least .480 in each of their last 7…after posting a -67 run differential in the 1st half, the E-Train outscored opponents 434-371 in the 2nd half, finishing with a -4 run differential (822-826)…Round Rock pitchers induced 81 double plays this season, the least in club history.

RHP TREY SUPAK: (ND, 3.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 5 SO, 45 pitches, 30 strikes) got the start in the final game of the 2026 season… received the Opening Day nod on 3/27 at SUG… was activated off of the Development List on 9/18… today’s start was also his 20th this season… becomes the 27th player in club’s Triple-A era (since 2005) to record 20+ starts in a season… was his 3rd outing this season without issuing a walk… also marked his first scoreless outing this season… finishes the campaign with a 3-4 record and 5.90 ERA (61 ER/93.0 IP).

INF/OF CAM CAULEY: tallied his team-leading 16th home run on Sunday afternoon...the Express have now had a batter record at least 16 home runs in every season since 2009…Cauley finished his first Triple-A season with 18 doubles, 3 triples, 16 homers, 54 RBI, 77 runs, 88 strikeouts, 53 walks and 39 stolen bases and a .276/.366/.625 slash line...39 stolen bases ranked 3rd in the Pacific Coast League.
