GREENSBORO- The Asheville Tourists snapped a six-game road losing streak on Sunday afternoon with an impressive 4-2 victory over the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Nolan DeVos and Valente Bellozo combined to pitch 8.1 innings and the duo held the Grasshoppers to only one run.

GREENSBORO- The Greensboro Grasshoppers handed the Asheville Tourists a bit of revenge for Asheville’s six-game sweep of Greensboro back in May. The ‘Hoppers defended their home field to take Game One of the current series by a final score of 4-2.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Blues defeated the Winston-Salem Dash 6-1 on Friday night in front of another sellout crowd at McCormick Field. The Blues used the Home Run ball, timely hitting, and quality pitching to earn the series opening win.

BOWLING GREEN- The Asheville Tourists bounced back in a big way Wednesday night. One night after suffering a shutout loss, the Tourists jumped on the Bowling Green Hot Rods early and outslugged the home team for a 16-9 win. Seven players in the Asheville lineup had two hits or more

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists were shutout by the Greenville Drive on Friday night, 8-0 at McCormick Field. Asheville has not scored a run in their last 17 innings which is the longest stretch of the season. Their current nine-game losing skid is also a season-long.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists held on to beat the Winston-Salem Dash 5-4 on Thursday night in front of a strong Thirsty Thursday crowd at McCormick Field. The Dash erased three separate deficits in the game but were unable to erase a fourth and the Tourists collected the one-run victory.

GREENVILLE- The Asheville Tourists worked 11 walks and came up with a few clutch hits to hold off the Greenville Drive 6-5 on Friday night. Asheville held Greenville to only two earned runs in the game and won their second straight overall.

ASHEVILLE- The 2023 Asheville Tourists Opening Day roster has officially been set by the Houston Astros Minor League Player Development Department. Assigned to the Tourists are several individuals who have previous experience at the High-A level, along with numerous players who are entering their first year in the South Atlantic
