ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists and the Bowling Green Hot Rods played a double-header at McCormick Field on Thursday night. Bowling Green took Game One by a final score of 7-0 while Asheville bounced back in Game Two with a 3-2 victory.

LAKEWOOD- The Asheville Tourists pulled off a thrilling come-from-behind win against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws on Saturday night. Asheville scored two runs in the top of the ninth inning to force extras and added two more runs in the tenth to secure a 6-4 win. The victory was Asheville’s sixth

GREENSBORO- The Asheville Tourists snapped a six-game road losing streak on Sunday afternoon with an impressive 4-2 victory over the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Nolan DeVos and Valente Bellozo combined to pitch 8.1 innings and the duo held the Grasshoppers to only one run.

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists won their sixth straight home game and eighth in their last 11 overall with an 8-3 victory over the Rome Braves Wednesday night. The Tourists fell behind 3-0 but reeled off eight unanswered. Ryan Clifford hit two of Asheville’s four Home Runs in the win.

GREENVILLE- Friday night in Greenville both the Asheville Tourists and the Greenville Drive had something to cheer about. Asheville reeled off 11 unanswered runs, including their biggest run-scoring inning of the year on their way to an 11-3 drubbing of the Drive in Game One. In the second game, the

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Blues defeated the Winston-Salem Dash 6-1 on Friday night in front of another sellout crowd at McCormick Field. The Blues used the Home Run ball, timely hitting, and quality pitching to earn the series opening win.

BOWLING GREEN- The Asheville Tourists bounced back in a big way Wednesday night. One night after suffering a shutout loss, the Tourists jumped on the Bowling Green Hot Rods early and outslugged the home team for a 16-9 win. Seven players in the Asheville lineup had two hits or more

ASHEVILLE- The Asheville Tourists were shutout by the Greenville Drive on Friday night, 8-0 at McCormick Field. Asheville has not scored a run in their last 17 innings which is the longest stretch of the season. Their current nine-game losing skid is also a season-long.
