BILOXI, MS - The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster moves on Monday. RHP Tayler Scott  was traded to the Texas Rangers in exchange for RHP Jeremy Jeffress. RHP Forrest Snow and RHP Matt Ramsey  were transferred from Triple-A Colorado Springs to Double-A Biloxi. C A.J. Murray  was placed on the 7-day DL
Scott, 25, appeared in a league-leading 42 games for the Shuckers this season with a 4-6 record and a 2.34 ERA. He struck out 63 batters in 61.2 innings and held opponents to a .245 batting average. The righty from Johannesburg, South Africa was originally a fifth-round selection of the Chicago Cubs in the 2011 draft and was signed out of independent ball by the Brewers in 2016.

In exchange for Scott, the Brewers received RHP Jeremy Jeffress , who had gone 1-2 with a 5.31 ERA with the Rangers this year. Jeffress returns to the Brewers organization for his third stint with the club after being traded, along with catcher Jonathan Lucroy, to the Rangers before last year's trade deadline in exchange for outfielder Lewis Brinson and current Shuckers righty Luis Ortiz . Originally drafted in the first round by the Brewers in 2006, Jeffress has pitched for Milwaukee, Kansas City and Texas in an eight-year MLB career.
Snow, 28, began the 2017 season with the Shuckers and went 4-2 with a 3.55 ERA in 18 appearances. He was first promoted to Triple-A Colorado Springs on June 8, was sent back to Biloxi for one appearance, then returned to the Sky Sox on June 14. With the Sky Sox, Snow was 2-2 with a 4.85 ERA in seven appearances. He has made five starts this season, one of which came in his last Biloxi appearance on June 13.
Ramsey, 27, was named a Southern League All-Star for his work with the Shuckers before his promotion to Colorado Springs on July 13. He went 3-2 with a 3.34 ERA in a Shuckers uniform this season and is still the league leader in saves with 20 in 22 opportunities.
Tuesday's move brings the current Shuckers roster to 25.
