Taylor Jungmann to Colorado Springs and Corbin Burnes added from A+ Carolina

BILOXI, MS - The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster moves prior to tonight's homestand opener against the Mobile BayBears at MGM Park. RHP Taylor Jungmann  transferred to Triple-A Colorado Springs from Biloxi and RHP Corbin Burnes  transferred to Biloxi from Advanced-A Carolina

BILOXI, MS The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster moves prior to tonight's homestand opener against the Mobile BayBears at MGM Park. RHP Taylor Jungmann  transferred to Triple-A Colorado Springs from Biloxi and RHP Corbin Burnes  transferred to Biloxi from Advanced-A Carolina

Jungmann, 27, began the season with the Milwaukee Brewers and made one appearance, allowing one run in 0.2 innings. He was optioned to Double-A Biloxi on April 6 and made nine appearances with the Shuckers, six of them starts. He went 1-2 with a 4.36 earned run average, striking out 31 batters in 33.0 innings.
Burnes, 22, was a fourth-round pick by the Brewers in the 2016 draft out of St. Mary's. After a rookie campaign in which he went 3-0 with a 2.02 earned run average in 12 appearances between the AZL Brewers and Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, Burnes got off to a dominant start with the Advanced-A Carolina Mudcats this season. In 10 starts with the Mudcats, he was 5-0 with a 1.05 earned run average. He is currently holding opponents to a .181 batting average, and has struck out 56 batters in 60.0 innings.
Burnes is rated as the No. 21 prospect for the Milwaukee Brewers according to MLBPipeline.com.

The Shuckers open a five-game homestand tonight at MGM Park. Jorge López is scheduled to start in Jungmann's place in the series opener. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. CT, with the Beau Rivage Pregame Show starting at 6:15 p.m. on Cruisin' WGCM AM-1240/FM-100.9 and the Shuckers Radio Network. The game will also be available at biloxishuckers.com, MiLB.TV and TuneIn Radio.
Tuesday is also another Polk's Meat Two-For-Tuesday, where fans can get $2 Polk's hot dogs in the concourse and bring a Polk's meat products label to the box office for buy-one, get-one reserved level tickets. The homestand concludes on Saturday, June 3 with a country music themed Post-Game Fireworks Extravaganza!
