The left-hander scattered eight hits and did not walk a batter while striking out five. The game was tied at two from the end of the third inning until the Cardinals scored the decisive run in the top of the 10th. Chen-Wei Lin was the winning pitcher, throwing four scoreless innings. Boston Smith homered for the Travs while Felnin Celesten and Josh Hood each had two hits.
