Texas No. 29 prospect Owen White kept his Arizona Fall League roll going with with 4 1/3 solid innings in the Saguaros' victory over the Rafters on Wednesday afternoon. The 22-year-old allowed a run on two hits and four walks while striking out five. Through four AFL outings, White’s ERA sits at 1.40 with a 0.98 WHIP and a .156 opponents’ average.

Washington’s No. 19 prospect Jackson Cluff went 2-for-4 out of the leadoff spot with a walk and an RBI while Jake Means (Royals) was 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored. Means’ Kansas City organization mate Seuly Matias belted the game’s lone home run, a solo shot to left field in the third.

Sixth-ranked Rockies prospect Michael Toglia roped his first triple of the AFL season and scored a run for the Rafters. D-backs outfielder Cooper Hummel pieced together the only multihit performance of the afternoon for Salt River, doubling and driving in a run on a 2-for-4 day. More »

Glendale 4, Peoria 2

Out of the No. 8 spot in the Desert Dogs’ order, No. 15 White Sox prospect Yolbert Sanchez went 3-for-3 with two RBIs en route to his team's victory. The rest of Peoria’s offense combined for just two hits, one of which was a triple by No. 26 Angels prospect Orlando Martinez, who scored a run. On the mound, Andre Pallante (Cardinals) struck out five while allowing just two hits and a walk over three scoreless innings. The right-hander threw 54 pitches, 33 for strikes, while dropping his ERA to 2.08.

Seattle’s No. 27 prospect Cade Marlowe went 2-for-4 with a double and run scored, the lone multihit performance and lone extra-base hit for the Javelinas. More »

Mesa 5, Scottsdale 4

The Solar Sox piled up 11 hits to the Scorpions’ eight and plated a run in the ninth to claim the victory. Andy Weber (Cubs) went 2-for-5 with a double out of the leadoff spot, one of four two-hit games for the Solar Sox. Baseball’s No. 32 overall prospect Gabriel Moreno went 1-for-2 with a double and a pair of walks and drove in the game-winning run on an RBI groundout to second in the top of the ninth. Moreno's Blue Jays organization mate Spencer Horwitz went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and two stolen bases.

Cubs No. 29 prospect Nelson Velazquez singled twice in five at-bats and scored a run.

Caleb Sampen (Rays) allowing a run on two hits and struck out four over three frames for the Scorpions. Cleveland’s No. 12 prospect Jose Tena went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs, a walk and a run scored while his organizational mate Michael Amditis singled twice. More »
