The Lake Elsinore Storm Announce The 2023 Broadcast Team

The 2022 California League Champion Lake Elsinore Storm have set its broadcast team for the 2023 season - and it has a decisively Syracuse, New York flavor. The Voice of the Storm will be Lake Elsinore City Council Member Tim Sheridan. Sheridan - a native of Syracuse - returns for

The 2022 California League Champion Lake Elsinore Storm have set its broadcast team for the 2023 season - and it has a decisively Syracuse, New York flavor.

The Voice of the Storm will be Lake Elsinore City Council Member Tim Sheridan. Sheridan - a native of Syracuse - returns for his second year in the booth after broadcasting four games in 2022, including the Storm’s first ever no-hitter on July 1 against the Inland Empire 66ers at the Diamond.

“I am very excited,” Sheridan said. “The Lake Elsinore Storm are a great community partner and I’m honored and privileged to play a greater role this year on the broadcast team.”

Council Member Sheridan will broadcast Friday and Saturday home games and other select games during the season, including Opening Night.

Jacob Kronberg will also complete play-by-play for the Storm this season. Kronberg, Nyack, New York native, is a graduate of Syracuse University’s exceptional Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Kronberg served as the play-by-play broadcaster for the New York Boulders of the Frontier League for the last two seasons. He also worked one summer calling games in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Orleans Firebirds and this past winter in the California Winter League in Palm Springs. He has also done freelance play-by-play work for Yale University, Dominican University, Saint Thomas Aquinas College, and Mercy College.

“I could not be more excited to join the Lake Elsinore Storm organization as a member of their broadcast team.” Kronberg said, “The Diamond has an incredible environment, with passionate fans, and I can’t wait to be a part of it for the 2023 season.”

Kronberg will handle most Sunday through Thursday home games this season.

Justin Jett Pickard, the Storm’s Multimedia Manager, is looking forward to another great year of Storm broadcasts. “We're so excited to welcome Tim Sheridan and Jacob Kronberg to our team this season,” Pickard said. “We believe their dedication and passion for baseball, Lake Elsinore, and the Storm will take our daily broadcasts to the next level.”
