This Date in Timber Rattlers History: August 29

August 29, 2003: The Rattlers won 1–0 at Kane County. Carlos Arroyo drove in the only run of the game with a two-out, RBI single in the top of the ninth. Felix Hernandez was the starting pitcher for Wisconsin and allowed three hits with one walk and ten strikeouts over seven innings for a no decision. Drew Dickinson was the starter for the Cougars and he allowed three hits with two walks and six strikeouts over eight innings for a no decision.

2010: The Rattlers beat Kane County 11–10 in eleven innings at home. Wisconsin had an 9–4 lead in the game until the Cougars scored three runs in the top of the eighth. Kentrail Davis had an RBI triple in the bottom of the eighth and the Rattlers were up 10–7. THEN, the Cougars scored three runs in the top of the ninth to tie the game. Khris Davis, who had a two-run homer earlier in the game, won the game for Wisconsin with a walkoff, RBI single to score Kentrail Davis in the bottom of the eleventh. Mitch LeVier had four RBI for the Cougars. Cutter Dykstra had three hits and three RBI while Kentrail Davis had three hits (and was a homer shy of the cycle), drove in two runs, and scored two runs for Wisconsin.
