Chad Thompson allowed one run over 5–1/3 innings for the win. In the nightcap, Chadwin Stang homered twice and Mike Garza added a homer for Wisconsin. The playoffs start on September 5 at Burlington with Game One of the first-round series.

2018: The Rattlers won 4–1 at Kane County in the final game of the regular season. If Kane County won the game, they clinched a bearth in the playoffs. If they lost, Beloit could get in with a win over Cedar Rapids. Wisconsin had a 1–0 lead with two runners on and one out in the top of the sixth inning when rain halted play. The delay lasted 3 hours and 46 minutes. When play resumed, Wisconsin scored twice in the top on a wild pitch and a sacrifice fly by Eddie Silva. Kenny Corey added an RBI single in the eighth inning. Dylan File allowed two hits over five scoreless innings. JT Hintzen allowed an unearned run over the final four innings to close out the game. Beloit’s home game with Cedar Rapids was supposed to start at 2:00pm, but they were delayed by rain and field conditions until 8:19pm. The Snappers wound up beating the Kernels 3–2 to claim a playoff spot and eliminate Kane County. Wisconsin finished the season with a 68–71 record.

2007: The Rattlers beat Kane County 1–0 at home in the final game of the regular season. Fabian Williamson (6IP, 3H), Harold Williams (2IP, 0H), and Tom Ellis (IP, 0H) combined to shutout the Cougars. Wisconsin rallied to win the game in the bottom of the ninth. Reed Eastley started the inning with a walk and Calvin Beamon pinch ran for Eastley. Beamon stole second and went to third on an error Gustavo Rosendo. Jamie McOwen was at the plate with one out and Beamon still at third when he sent a slow grounder back to pitcher Derrick Gordon. Beamon broke for the plate on contact and Gordon’s throw home was in time. However, Beamon crashed into Rosendo to knock the ball free and give the Rattlers a walkoff win. Wisconsin finished with a 53–85 record.

1999: The Rattlers beat Rockford 5–4 in thirteen innings. Fernando Espino drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the thirteenth to force in the run for the walkoff win. Wisconsin tied the game 4–4 with two runs in the bottom of the ninth inning. Craig Kuzmic and Bo Robinson each homered for Wisconsin. Adam Dunn had three hits, including a three-run homer for the Reds in the top of the third inning to give Rockford a 4–1 lead.
