FORT WAYNE, Ind. – As Opening Day at Parkview Field quickly approaches, the TinCaps are excited to announce a flash sale on tickets. With sun and warm temperatures in the forecast, fans can receive a $4 discount on All-Star and Reserved seats for home games between April 12-16, when the TinCaps take on the Lake County Captains (Cleveland Guardians affiliate).

Tickets must be purchased in advance of each game and the promotion doesn’t include tickets to Opening Day on Tuesday, April 11.

The current forecast is predicting temperatures in the 70s throughout the homestand, even a high of 82 degrees on Friday the 14th. None of the opening homestand dates are calling for rain, at this time.

Prior to Opening Day, Parkview Field will host an Open House on Saturday, April 8 (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.). The event is free to enter.

This season Parkview Field is offering more than 20 new food and drink options. (Note: Not all concession options will be available at the Open House.)

The homestand is the first chance for fans to catch 11 of San Diego’s top 30 prospects, headlined by 19-year-old shortstop Jackson Merrill, who enters the season as the Padres’ No. 1 prospect.

The TinCaps play their first three High-A Midwest League games on the road against the West Michigan Whitecaps beginning Thursday.
