Springfield, MO—The Arkansas Travelers’ league best pitching staff threw their fifth shutout of the season in a 6-0 win over the Springfield Cardinals on Sunday night. Taylor Dollard threw six shutout innings with six strikeouts for his third win of the season and dropped his league leading ERA to 0.95.

Taylor Dollard threw six shutout innings with six strikeouts for his third win of the season and dropped his league leading ERA to 0.95. Jake Haberer, Devin Sweet and Michael Stryffeler each threw a scoreless inning to close it out. Arkansas did not get a hit until the sixth inning and then scored in each of the final four frames including a three-run seventh. Patrick Frick paced the offense with three hits including a double.

Moments That Mattered

* Jordan Walker led off the second with a double for Springfield and moved to third with one out but Dollard prevented him from scoring to set the tone for the night.

* Frick led off the sixth with the Travs first hit of the game. He scored with two out on a triple by Jack Larsen.
