Wichita, KS—A six run 10th inning carried the Arkansas Travelers to an 8-2 win over the Wichita Wind Surge on Saturday night. The Wind Surge tied the game with a two out rally in the 9th only to see the Travelers respond with six runs in the 10th, the first three of which scored without a hit in the inning. Isaiah Campbell got the win closing it out after being charged with a blown save. Juan Mercedes delivered a quality start giving up just one run over a season high six innings with seven strikeouts. Robbie Tenerowicz continues his hot hitting with three knocks including a double and home run.

Moments That Mattered

* Tenerowicz put the Travs in front with a tiebreaking homer in the 6th off reliever Michael Boyle who had just come into the game.

* Campbell struck out the first two in the ninth before Wichita went single, stolen base, single to tie the game.

* The 10th inning opened with two hit batters to load the bases before Tanner Kirwer worked a walk for the lead. A fielder’s choice on a groundball put the Travs up two and two batters later, a sacrifice fly from Spencer Packard made it a three-run game.
