Travs Rough Up Riders, 9-2

Frisco, TX-The Arkansas Travelers started their Texas roadtrip with a bang and a 9-2 victory over the Frisco RoughRiders on Tuesday night. Lindsey Caughel pitched a career-best eight innings on the mound while the offense banged out a season-high eight extra base hits. Tyler Marlette had his second two homerun game of the year and Braden Bishop set a career-best with three doubles.
Moments That Mattered
-Arkansas scored twice in the first inning and again in the third in building a solid early lead. Seth Mejias-Brean had two out RBIs in each of those innings.
- With the lead down to one, Tyler Marlette blasted a two-run homer in the fifth.
- Chris Mariscal added a two-run double later in the inning to blow the game open.
